During the Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi launched a strong criticism against the Election Commission. He alleged a partnership between the Election Commission and the BJP, claiming that his questions remain unanswered. Gandhi highlighted that he had inquired about the source of 1 lakh voters in Karnataka, but the Election Commission has yet to provide a response. He also pointed out that while he was asked to submit an affidavit, similar demands were not made to Anurag Thakur. Gandhi stated that the Yatra is successful, and people are showing great interest. He asserted that the aim is to prevent election theft in Bihar, as it allegedly occurred in Maharashtra, Haryana, and Karnataka. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav echoed Gandhi’s sentiments, claiming that the Election Commission has become a tool of the BJP. The yatra, which also included Tejashwi Yadav, Mukesh Sahni, and other leaders, aims to protect democracy and the constitution.
