Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has leveled serious accusations of widespread voter fraud during the recent Haryana Assembly elections. Addressing the press, he claimed that an estimated 2.5 million votes were illicitly manipulated, significantly impacting the election’s integrity. Gandhi presented a photograph of an individual, alleging this person voted multiple times under various identities, including Seema, Sweety, and Vimala. He further asserted that the photograph depicted a Brazilian model, whose image was allegedly used on numerous fake voter IDs to cast votes across 22 different polling stations by BJP operatives. Gandhi criticized the Election Commission for perceived inaction, suggesting they deliberately overlooked clear instances of duplicate voter entries. He stated that such duplication could be easily rectified if the commission chose to act, implying their silence aids the ruling party. The allegations encompass five categories of stolen votes and highlight concerns about the accuracy of the electoral process in Haryana.
