In a scathing attack during an election rally in Aurangabad, Bihar, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi asserted that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is acting under the directives of powers in New Delhi. Gandhi accused the state’s NDA government of dismantling employment opportunities for Bihar’s youth, effectively turning them into laborers. He further highlighted the rampant issue of question paper leaks, which he claimed disproportionately benefit wealthier students, exacerbating educational inequality. Gandhi also contended that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is intentionally fostering social media addiction among the youth. According to him, this strategy aims to distract young people from critical issues such as education, healthcare, and employment, thereby preventing them from holding the government accountable. The Congress leader also leveled serious accusations of ‘vote chori’ (vote theft) against Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, suggesting they are resorting to such tactics due to the anticipated defeat of the NDA in Bihar. Gandhi pledged that if the INDIA bloc secures power, it will form a government dedicated to the interests of extremely backward classes, marginalized communities, and Dalits, emphasizing the people of Bihar’s vigilance against electoral malpractice.
