Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent statements concerning the Indian Army. Speaking at a public rally in Banka, Bihar, Singh urged Gandhi to cease politicizing the armed forces. He emphasized that soldiers are dedicated to ‘Sainya Dharma,’ a singular duty to the nation, irrespective of caste or creed. Singh asserted that this dedication is what allows soldiers to uphold India’s honor during times of crisis.
Singh highlighted the detrimental impact of caste-based politics on national unity, advocating for the equal upliftment of all societal segments. He referenced ‘Operation Sindoor,’ a successful counter-terrorism operation following an attack in Pahalgam, showcasing India’s enhanced global standing as a powerful nation. He stated that the operation, aimed at dismantling terror networks, is temporarily paused but will resume. The Defence Minister concluded by stating that India is now recognized internationally as a strong and formidable country, a testament to its growing global reputation and military prowess.
