In a detailed conversation with IANS, Bihar minister Ramkripal Yadav highlighted the positive outcomes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ongoing foreign visit. He clarified that the trip to five countries was scheduled well in advance and should not be viewed through a political lens. Yadav explained that the engagements are helping India secure long-term energy supplies at a time when global petroleum shortages are causing concern in many nations. Thanks to the strong diplomatic bonds forged since 2014, India is better positioned than several other countries to weather this challenge. He appealed to the public to reduce fuel consumption and support government initiatives aimed at conservation. The minister also criticized sections of the opposition and certain social media users for circulating misleading information about the tour, warning that such activities harm India’s reputation and must be countered with legal measures. Turning to education, Yadav confirmed that the government will conduct a fresh NEET examination for students impacted by the paper leak and will not impose any extra fee. He stated that the education ministry has already rolled out new protocols to prevent future leaks and is working toward a completely transparent examination process. Additionally, he spoke about the recent cyclonic storm that battered parts of Bihar, including Patna, and assured that relief camps and compensation packages have been activated for affected families. Yadav reiterated that the government remains committed to both economic stability and citizen welfare.
