Fatehpur, May 28: Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has openly criticized the Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Adityanath for failing to translate cow-protection rhetoric into meaningful results. Addressing gatherings in Fatehpur, he stated that despite repeated promises, gaushalas remain overcrowded and underfunded, smuggling networks operate freely, and official claims of action amount to little more than files and announcements. The seer noted that while politicians use cow-related slogans during elections, the actual condition of cattle on the ground tells a different story. He urged voters to distinguish between words and deeds when choosing their representatives. On the issue of population, Swami Avimukteshwaranand argued that leaders who cannot generate employment view growing numbers as a liability rather than an opportunity. He made it clear that his support for any party hinges solely on concrete steps for cow welfare. Reiterating his earlier remarks in Banda, he expressed disappointment that expectations from a leader connected to Gorakshpeeth had not been met, describing the bulldozer-driven governance style as insufficient for protecting cows. The swami concluded by offering voters a clear choice: back a government that truly regards cows as mothers or continue with the status quo.
