The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted coordinated raids across Jammu, Doda, and Handwara in North Kashmir. The operation, part of an ongoing investigation under FIR number 12/2022, focused on a conspiracy involving cross-border funding facilitated by cryptocurrency. The raids aimed to dismantle financial networks supporting terrorist activities and inciting unrest among the youth. Evidence seized included electronic devices, bank documents, and other materials crucial for identifying individuals involved in anti-national activities. The SIA is specifically targeting the use of cryptocurrency to fund violence and radicalization, a growing trend among terrorist organizations.
