Controversy has erupted following spiritual guru Rambhadracharya’s statement calling Western Uttar Pradesh a ‘mini Pakistan’ during a discourse in Meerut. Former Samajwadi Party MP Dr. ST Hasan strongly criticized the remark, deeming it an insult not only to Muslims but to the entire Western Uttar Pradesh. Hasan emphasized that Hindus and Muslims coexist harmoniously in the region, and such statements are detrimental to social harmony. Dr. ST Hasan highlighted the mutual support and shared lives of Hindus and Muslims in Western Uttar Pradesh. He pointed out that people of all religions live together. He questioned whether an area becomes a ‘mini Pakistan’ simply because Muslims reside there, calling such a notion deeply flawed and offensive.
