A major landslide occurred in the Jangambag area near Sundernagar, Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, during the evening. The sudden geological event caused two residential structures to collapse, trapping several individuals under the debris. Some residents managed to escape, but others remain unaccounted for. Emergency services, including the State Disaster Management Authority, District Disaster Management Authority, and local police, responded swiftly. Rescue operations are ongoing amid unstable terrain. Three bodies have been recovered. Two individuals are still missing from one of the impacted homes. The search also extends to a person caught in the landslide while in their car. The incident triggered immediate chaos and panic among the local populace.
