Tata‑Linked Contractors’ Staff Call for Immediate Payment

Workers hired by subcontractors attached to the Tata‑led Noida International Airport development have voiced frustration over an extended salary freeze. The protestors explained that they have escalated the issue to their immediate contractors, but no satisfactory resolution emerged. Consequently, they sought direct dialogue with the airport’s developer, demanding swift action to clear the accumulated wages. The labour force stressed that their contribution to critical phases of the airport’s construction has been continuous and that prompt remuneration is essential to sustain their households.
