Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, who has been criticizing the Election Commission and the NDA government over the SIR matter, has now directly targeted Bihar’s Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha. During a press conference on Sunday, Tejashwi Yadav alleged that Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha’s name appeared in the voter list at two different locations. He provided details about Vijay Kumar Sinha’s voter registration in Bankipur and Lakhisarai districts, including his age and serial number.
Tejashwi Yadav referred to electoral affidavits, mentioning the serial number in the Bankipur assembly constituency. He stated that the Deputy CM must have filled separate counting forms for the two different assembly constituencies. The Booth Level Officers (BLOs) would have visited him, whether in Lakhisarai or Bankipur, and Vijay Kumar Sinha would have signed. If the Deputy CM did not sign, it would confirm the ongoing fraud that they have been alleging. Either the entire SIR process of the Election Commission is fraudulent, or the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar is fraudulent.
