The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (UP ATS) apprehended three young men from Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, on charges of collecting and transferring funds to Palestine. The individuals arrested were identified as Mohammad Ayan Mohammad Hussain (22), residing in Sahara Apartment; Abu Sufiyan Tajammul Ansari (22), a resident of Gulzar Nagar; and Zaid Notiyar Abdul Kadir (22), residing in Vetal Pada.
According to police sources, the three suspects allegedly gathered approximately 3 lakh rupees for Palestinians. They then transferred the collected money abroad through associates in Uttar Pradesh without proper authorization. The arrests followed a joint investigation conducted by the UP ATS and local police officials in Bhiwandi.
