Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced two significant initiatives focused on education and environmental conservation. High school and intermediate exam toppers across the state will have the opportunity to serve as District Magistrate (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP) for one day. This program aims to provide administrative experience to outstanding students, boost their confidence, and encourage them to pursue higher goals. Alongside this, the Chief Minister has also directed the organization of “River Festivals” across the state to promote river cleanliness, rejuvenation, and conservation through public participation. These festivals, named after the major rivers of Uttarakhand, will highlight the importance of water conservation and cleanliness to the general public.
