A truck carrying Kanwar pilgrims overturned near Jajal, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, resulting in one fatality and injuries to 14 others. The vehicle, en route from Rishikesh to Chamba, veered off the road near Thana Narendra Nagar. Local authorities, including the police, administration, and SDRF teams, swiftly responded to the scene. Injured individuals received initial medical attention at Fakot Primary Health Center, with those seriously hurt transferred to AIIMS Rishikesh and Narendra Nagar Hospital. Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, expressed condolences and directed the district administration to provide comprehensive medical assistance to the injured.
