VHP leader vows strict action against Garba disruptions

Indore – Santosh Sharma, a senior leader of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, announced that the organisation is prepared to act decisively against any attempts to sabotage Garba events before Navratri. Sharma warned that anyone who tries to create disorder will face legal consequences, a shift from earlier instances when minor infractions were overlooked.

The VHP statement follows a series of complaints from Hindu groups about alleged interference by non‑Hindu participants. Sharma urged devotees to think carefully before attending and to respect the sanctity of the celebrations. He emphasized that the community must stand united to protect its cultural heritage.

Both the state police and local officials have been briefed on the heightened alert, and additional security personnel are expected at major venues.
