A shocking incident unfolded near Panruti in Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu, where a woman was allegedly subjected to a brutal attack by a group of four women. The victim was reportedly tied to a tree, beaten, and partially stripped. A disturbing 2.13-minute video documenting the assault has circulated widely on social media, sparking widespread outrage. Authorities have confirmed the arrest of one of the attackers, while efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the remaining three suspects. Initial investigations suggest the assault was motivated by a personal land dispute. The video depicts the victim being surrounded by the attackers, who are seen verbally abusing her, physically assaulting her, and attempting to remove her clothing. One of the attackers is heard shouting, “You are equivalent to a dog,” while another is seen striking the victim with a stick and another pulling her hair. The victim desperately tries to hold onto one of the attackers to prevent being completely undressed. Despite a person filming the assault and warning the attackers of potential legal consequences, the assault continued unabated. Towards the end of the video, an elderly woman attempts to grab the phone of the person filming. Police are actively investigating the incident to piece together the full sequence of events and bring all those involved to justice.
