Yasin Malik, the imprisoned leader of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), has made significant claims in a recent affidavit submitted to the Delhi High Court. Malik stated that in 2006, he met with Hafiz Saeed, the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba, in Pakistan. This meeting, according to Malik, was arranged at the behest of Indian intelligence officers. He further asserted that after this meeting, Manmohan Singh, the former Prime Minister of India, personally expressed gratitude towards him. Malik is currently serving a life sentence related to terror funding charges.
