The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has commenced the land acquisition process from farmers in villages designated under the Master Plan 2041. YEIDA aims to develop new industrial and residential sectors on the acquired land and subsequently launch plot schemes. Farmers will receive compensation and residential plots in exchange for their land, following the government’s directive to secure land ownership before initiating any plot schemes to prevent disputes and expedite development. Land acquisition has begun for sectors planned under the Master Plan 2041, including areas in Sector-5, Sector-8, and Sector-9, as well as remaining land in existing Sectors 24A, 32, and 29. Sector-5 is slated for residential development, while Sectors 8 and 9 are planned as industrial zones. The authority intends to expedite the plot scheme launch near the Noida International Airport. Existing industrial parks like the SMME Park in Sector-32 and Apparel Park in Sector-29 are already operational, and residential plots in Sector-24A are nearing handover.
