Data from April-May 2025-26 reveals a sharp decline in transformer failures, indicating a more robust and reliable power distribution system. This improvement is a direct result of proactive steps taken to strengthen maintenance protocols and enforce accountability, signaling a new era of dependable power supply for the state’s residents. The efforts have led to a considerable reduction in transformer blowouts, a common problem in the past, especially during the summer and monsoon seasons.
