Youth Engagement Drive Gives Students a Glimpse of Governance

Delhi’s chief minister, Rekha Gupta, convened a round‑table with forty Maharashtra students as part of the “Campus to Parliament” outreach. The meeting, posted on X by the CM, underscored the scheme’s purpose: to connect tomorrow’s leaders directly with the mechanisms of Parliament and public administration.

The itinerary includes guided tours of the Parliament building, Rashtrapati Bhavan and the National War Memorial, followed by dialogues with Union cabinet members, senior civil servants and other public‑service personalities. Gupta highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s steadfast confidence in young Indians and asserted that such exposure cultivates informed citizenship.

Vinod Tawde, who originally proposed the programme, praised the chief minister’s hospitality and reiterated that a vibrant youth is the cornerstone of a developed nation.
