Chhattisgarh Grih Nirman Evam Adho Sanrachna Vikas Mandal's Logo Design Competition Receives Unprecedented Response

2700 Participants Submit Over 3000 Logo Designs Raipur, May 21, 2026/The logo design competition organized by the Chhattisgarh Grih Nirman Evam Adho Sanrachna Vikas Mandal has received a tremendous response from across the state and the country. By the deadline of May 20, 2026, approximately 2700 participants submitted over 3000 logo designs via email. It is noteworthy that the state government has changed the name of "Chhattisgarh Grih Nirman Mandal" to "Chhattisgarh Grih Nirman Evam Adho Sanrachna Vikas Mandal". After the bill presented by the Minister of Housing and Environment, Mr. O.P. Chaudhary, in the assembly was passed by the assembly and received the Governor's approval, it was published in the gazette on April 24, 2026. Mr. Anurag Singh Deo, Chairman of the Mandal, stated that along with the name change, the scope of the Mandal's work has also been expanded. Now the Mandal will not be limited to housing construction but will also implement road, bridge, and other infrastructure development works. Furthermore, opportunities to work on infrastructure projects outside the state will strengthen the Mandal's efficiency and financial condition. In this regard, during the time-bound meeting held on May 12, 2026, Mr. Avnish Kumar Sharan, Commissioner of the Mandal, had directed the organization of a competition for new logo designs to reflect the Mandal's new form and expanded scope of work. The competition invited logo designs from the general public, artists, designers, and institutions that align with the new name and its concept. Participants were given the opportunity to submit their entries via email in CDR, PDF, PNG, and JPEG formats, along with their design concepts. The creator of the best logo selected by the Mandal will be awarded a prize money of Rs 2.50 lakh. The scrutiny and selection process for the received entries will be conducted in three phases. For this, a 5-member committee has been formed by the Mandal. The committee will recommend for the final selection after technical evaluation. After the completion of the selection process, the Mandal's new logo will be made public, and the creator of the selected logo will be awarded a prize of Rs 2.50 lakh.
