
Corona vaccination is said to start from January 16, but the system of vaccination in the state is still incomplete. In view of the situation, the state government has demanded 27 thousand 500 vaccine carriers and 300 cold boxes from the center. Due to lateality, it has become a challenge to arrange them on time.
The event was organized by UNICEF on Monday regarding the corona vaccination. In this, all the people including the National Health Mission’s managing director Priyanka Shukla, health officer were present. In the program, State Immunization Officer Dr. Amar Singh Thakur informed that 1,349 session sites have been identified in 28 districts. This includes government and private health facilities, schools, community halls, gram panchayats and municipality buildings. A total of 7,116 vaccinators have been identified and trained.
Dr. Pranitkumar Kashinathrao Phatale of WHO said that the WHO would provide technical assistance to the State Government in the work of development of operational guidelines, capacity building and monitoring of various cadres in the form of vaccination. This will help in beneficiary registration, session microplanning, real-time reporting of vaccination and issue of vaccination certificate.
