Arsenal’s Ben White: Early successes set the tone for a title‑defence run

Ben White, one of Arsenal’s defensive mainstays, said the club’s early string of victories has cemented a belief that they can defend their Premier League title this season. Four wins, including a hard‑fought 2‑1 triumph over Chelsea, have placed the Gunners on the summit of the league standings.

Having started all four league fixtures and contributed an assist, White reminisced about the journey to last season’s championship, describing it as the culmination of years of perseverance. “We faced setbacks, but the trust we built kept us moving forward,” he explained to Geo Hotstar.

White gave credit to manager Mikel Arteta for cultivating a charged environment at the Emirates Stadium, where fans generate a “massive source of energy” from the very first whistle. “That atmosphere pushes us to perform at our best on the pitch,” he noted.

He warned that the challenge ahead will be to maintain focus and intensity throughout the campaign. “With hard work, unity and the support of our fans, we have the capacity to win the league again,” White affirmed.
