She defeated her American opponent in just 94 minutes on the night of September 6th, claiming the championship and a prize of 440 million. The 27-year-old player also won the title in 2024. This victory allowed her to overcome the setbacks of the previous two Grand Slams this season, having faced defeats in the French Open final and the Wimbledon semi-finals this year.
