Pace options Wil Byram and KC Barton, both participants in the recent U‑19 World Cup, will lead the bowling attack. Byram dazzled with ten wickets at an average of 10.50, while Barton contributed four wickets before the semi‑final loss to England. Neel Patel, a player of Indian heritage, earned his place after a prolific season with the University of New South Wales Cricket Club, surpassing 1,000 runs in the Sydney Premier first‑grade league.
