Match-fixing continues to plague the world of cricket. A recent case has emerged from the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) List A tournament, the Dhaka Premier League (DPL), potentially leading to a five-year ban for a player. The BCB’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) has recommended action against the batsman, Minahazul Abedin Sabbir, following an investigation into alleged match-fixing during the previous DPL season.
