Commonwealth Games 2026: Lavlina Borgohain Joins Elite Indian Boxing Medalists

Golakhat, August 2 – With a silver medal in the 75 kg women's division at the Commonwealth Games 2026, Lavlina Borgohain entered an exclusive circle of Indian boxers who have medaled at consecutive global events. Her achievement was elevated when she dedicated the award to families devastated by the recent floods in Assam.

The boxer’s record now includes a silver from the Asian Games, a bronze from the Tokyo Olympics, and a world‑championship gold along with two bronzes.
