Rising star Deepanshi Fogat, set to make her Asian Games debut, thanked the Wrestling Federation of India for a well‑structured training camp and the addition of an overseas coach. She is determined to put forth her best performance and add to India’s medal tally.

Manisha Bhanwala highlighted the influence of Japanese coach Akashi, noting improvements in fitness, speed, and technique. Coach Bharti Baghel, leading the team for the first time, promised a focused campaign aimed at securing six gold medals.
