Cricket fans are anticipating the upcoming ODI series, hoping to witness Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s prowess. While India is scheduled to play a 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh in August 2025, the October tour to Australia for a 3-match ODI series holds special significance. Cricket Australia is planning a special farewell for the Indian batting legends, as it could be their last ODI series in Australia.
Cricket Australia CEO Todd Greenberg stated, “This might be the last time that we get to see Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma play in our country. And if that is the case… we wanna make sure we give them a great send-off and a reflection of the incredible contribution they have made to international cricket.”
Rohit Sharma made his debut for India on June 23, 2007, against Ireland. Against Australia, Rohit has an impressive record, scoring 2407 runs in 46 matches at an average of over 57 and a strike rate of 96.01.
