Cricket Star Rajat Patidar Celebrates Sawan by Worshipping Lord Mahakal

Ujjain, 30 July – Celebrating the onset of the holy month of Sawan, IPL star Rajat Patidar, captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, made a pilgrimage to the ancient Mahakaleshwar Temple accompanied by his spouse and child. The trio performed the traditional Jalabhishekh ritual and participated in the temple’s daily puja.

Patidar’s recent performances have placed him among the most influential figures in modern Indian cricket. He captained RCB to successive IPL titles in 2025 and 2026, demonstrating a blend of strategic acumen and aggressive batting.

Statistically, Patidar compiled 312 runs in 15 games during the 2025 tournament. The following year he elevated his output, scoring 501 runs at an eye‑popping 192.69 strike rate, notching five half‑centuries and a career‑best unbeaten 93.

In domestic circuits, he leads Madhya Pradesh across all formats, maintaining a steady presence in the state’s batting lineup. Internationally, Patidar earned his ODI cap in 2023 and his Test debut in 2024, playing three Tests and one ODI, with his last appearance recorded in February 2024. He continues to await a spot back in the Indian squad.
