Cricket Boards Confident of Gold Medals at Upcoming Asian Games

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has projected a strong medal haul for both its men’s and women’s squads at the 2026 Asian Games. BCCI Vice‑President Rajiv Shukla stated, “We have assembled competitive squads and are fully prepared. There is no doubt that we will bring home gold medals for India.” The cricket committees have been conducting joint training sessions and bilateral series to sharpen skills ahead of the Games, where cricket will feature in both formats.
