Abhishek Sharma etched his name in the record books during the third T20 International between India and Afghanistan in New Delhi. The left‑handed batsman reached a century in just 30 balls, the quickest by a left‑hander in T20I history.

His 108 runs came from 34 deliveries, packed with nine fours and eleven sixes, yielding an astonishing strike rate of 317. The aggressive start helped India climb to 221 for 7 in the allotted 20 overs. Sanju Samson added a brisk 50, while the rest of the line‑up could not sustain the momentum.
