Former Indian cricket team coach Gary Kirsten, renowned for his role in the 2011 World Cup victory, has embarked on a new venture, partnering with Russel Symcox to sell luxury villas in Goa. This marks Kirsten’s foray into real estate after a three-decade career. The project, promoted by Cricket Front Villas, promises luxurious living with top-tier education and sports facilities. Kirsten’s strategic partnership with Yugen Infra for the sports-focused luxury villas was announced, emphasizing a holistic development approach for children. The residential complex near Goa’s MOPA airport will feature cricket coaching led by Kirsten and Symcox, alongside golf courses and facilities for various sports. A global standard school will be integral to the project, with Kirsten personally invested in fostering comprehensive child development. The project aims to blend academics and sports, drawing from South African models of sporting excellence and integrated education, with the belief that principles from sports can be applied to business and education. Kirsten and Symcox expressed confidence in the venture, emphasizing the importance of sports in shaping life skills like dealing with adversity and the value of teamwork. The initiative focuses on leadership and the significance of dedication and commitment, beyond just talent, to cultivate well-rounded individuals.
