Ahead of the Asia Cup 2025, the focus has shifted to Hardik Pandya’s watch. The timepiece has gained attention due to its high price, which exceeds the combined annual salaries of the 17 Pakistani players selected for the tournament. The expensive watch first caught the eye when Pandya wore it during a practice session in Dubai.
The price of Hardik Pandya’s watch is significantly higher than the annual salaries of the Pakistani players participating in the Asia Cup. Let’s examine the salary details of the Pakistani players.
Seven Pakistani players are in Grade B, including Abrar Ahmed, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Sam Ayub, Salman Agha, and Shaheen Afridi. Each player in this grade earns an annual salary of 16.92 million rupees. The total annual salary for these seven players amounts to 118.31 million rupees.
Five Pakistani players are in Grade C, including Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz, and Sahibzada Farhan. Each of these players has an annual salary of 9.39 million rupees, totaling 46.95 million rupees for all five players.
The remaining five players are in Grade D and receive an annual salary of 5.63 million rupees each, summing up to 28.17 million rupees for the group.
When the annual salaries of all 17 Pakistani players selected for the Asia Cup are combined, the total amount is 193.4 million rupees. However, this amount is less than the estimated market price of Hardik Pandya’s watch, reported to be 200 million rupees. Pandya was seen wearing a Richard Mille RM 27-04 watch during the practice session in Dubai.
