Hasin Jahan, the wife of Indian fast bowler Mohammad Shami, is making headlines for a recent video in which her tone is perceived as threatening. Active on social media, Jahan shared a reel on Instagram where she made cryptic remarks. While she didn’t explicitly state the purpose of the video or to whom it was directed, her words suggest an accusation. This has led to a backlash from Mohammad Shami’s fans.
In her latest video, Jahan states, “Don’t consider me an ordinary girl.” She claims that while some people use their charm to ignite passion, she uses her words. The video’s caption hints at her intentions, stating that when she doesn’t speak, people say nothing, but when she does, the accused uses media to defend themselves and portray themselves as victims.
This has led to strong reactions from Mohammad Shami’s fans, with some accusing her of creating problems in her own home and others criticizing her for allegedly living off Shami’s money. One commenter even called her an “aunty” and claimed she is surviving on the money Shami provides.
As per a Calcutta High Court order, Mohammad Shami pays Hasin Jahan 4 lakh rupees every month. Out of this allowance, 2.5 lakh rupees are allocated for their daughter, and 1.5 lakh rupees are for Jahan. However, Jahan has previously claimed this amount is insufficient, citing high inflation, and stated that she had requested 10 lakh rupees.
