The Australia A team is currently touring India and is playing a two-match unofficial Test series against India A. The first match ended in a draw. The second match is scheduled to be played at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow from September 23rd. A significant update has emerged regarding the Indian team before this match. A major change is expected in the Indian team. Shreyas Iyer, who was leading the Indian team in this series against Australia A, will not be part of the team for the second match. He has taken a break to rest and has returned to Mumbai. The selectors have been informed of his unavailability, but he will remain a contender for the upcoming two-Test series against the West Indies, which begins on October 2nd. In Iyer’s absence, Dhruv Jurel, the vice-captain in the first match, will lead the team. Jurel has recently performed well in domestic cricket, and this responsibility will be a great opportunity for him. No new player will be included in the team to replace Shreyas Iyer.
