India has once again emerged as the champions of Asia. The Indian team, captained by Harmanpreet Singh, clinched the Men’s Hockey Asia Cup title after an eight-year wait. In the final held in Rajgir, the Indian team decisively defeated defending champions South Korea with a score of 4-1, marking their fourth title win in the tournament. This victory also secured Team India’s qualification for the FIH Men’s World Cup 2026, which will be hosted in the Netherlands and Belgium.
