Ravindra Jadeja has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing Harbhajan Singh in the elite list of Indian bowlers with the most Test wickets at home. This remarkable feat came as he clinched the Player of the Series award for his outstanding all-round performance in India’s recent Test series victory against the West Indies. Jadeja showcased his prowess by scoring a brilliant 104 runs in the single innings he batted and scalping eight crucial wickets across the two matches. This accomplishment places him third on the all-time list of Indian bowlers with the most wickets in home international cricket, trailing only legends Anil Kumble and Ravichandran Ashwin. His home record now stands at an impressive 377 wickets from 152 matches, boasting an exceptional average of 24.02 and a strike rate of 45.9. This marks Jadeja’s third Player of the Series award in his Test career, all of which have been secured on home soil.
