Keshav Dubas shines as Central Delhi Kings claim second straight victory

NEW DELHI, August 2 – In a rain‑disrupted DPL 2026 contest at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Keshav Dubas stole the spotlight for Central Delhi Kings. The pace bowler delivered an economical spell of 2 wickets for just 14 runs, playing a pivotal role in the Kings’ four‑wicket win over Outer Delhi Warriors.

Outer Delhi Warriors had posted 130 for five in the allotted ten overs, thanks to quick knocks from Yajas Sharma (39 off 16), Mohit Panwar (37 off 18) and Akshay Saini (31 off 15). The target of 131 was chased down by the Kings in 9.5 overs, finishing on 133 for six.

Yash Dhul, the Kings’ captain, opened the innings with a scorching 35 from 16 balls, smashing two fours and three sixes. He was supported by Jonti Siddhu’s 25 off 12 and Vansh Bedi’s unbeaten 47 off 16, which featured three fours and five sixes.

Alongside Dubas, Arun Pundir, Tejas Baroka and Gwanish Khurana each took a wicket, completing a well‑balanced bowling effort. For the Warriors, Pratham Saluja and Aman Chaudhary each captured two wickets but could not prevent the Kings from clinching the win.

The triumph marks Central Delhi Kings’ second consecutive league victory, strengthening their position at the top of the DPL standings and boosting morale for the upcoming fixtures.
