Nagoya, 21 September – In a one‑sided tie at the Asian Games 2026, India’s men’s badminton line‑up dispatched Bangladesh 3‑0, ensuring a quarter‑final slot.

Lakhy Sen dominated the first match, recording a 21‑4 blowout before easing to a 21‑12 win in the second game.

Ayush Shetty continued the onslaught, taking both games against Gaurav Singha 21‑4 and 21‑13, leaving no room for a comeback.

Kidanbi Shrikant, the third singles player, secured the final victory. After a competitive opener at 21‑15, he closed the tie with a decisive 21‑10 second game.

With the win, India moves on to face Japan in the quarter‑finals on Tuesday, where a further victory would lock in a podium finish.
