The final of the javelin throw tournament at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan has commenced, featuring Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra of India and Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan. Chopra has qualified for the final of this tournament for the second consecutive time. Previously, at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, Chopra secured the gold medal with a throw of 88.17 meters, surpassing Arshad Nadeem. Chopra now has the opportunity to win the World Athletics Championships gold medal for the second time in a row.
