New Indoor Arena in Ayodhya Offers Modern Courts and Fitness Zones

Ayodhya’s upcoming indoor arena, budgeted at 176 crore rupees, will soon provide cutting‑edge facilities for multiple disciplines including badminton, tennis, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and boxing. The facility is being built under the Global Urban Development Initiative, with the municipal corporation overseeing its execution.

A groundbreaking ceremony was led by Mayor Girish Tripathi, marking the start of a construction phase expected to finish within a year. The design incorporates advanced flooring, climate‑controlled environments, and digital scoring systems to meet international standards.

Athletes will also benefit from a fully equipped gymnasium and a yoga centre, ensuring comprehensive training regimes that cover strength, endurance, and mental focus. Officials anticipate that the arena will become a magnet for regional tournaments and a catalyst for youth engagement in sports.

By delivering top‑tier infrastructure, the project aims to elevate Ayodhya’s presence on the national sports map and nurture the next generation of champions.
