In response to recent headlines alleging match‑fixing in the Delhi Premier League (DPL), the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has issued a clear message: no concrete proof exists to support the claims. The controversy erupted after a concealed camera captured former Ranji cricketer Rachit Bhatiya allegedly talking about fixing outcomes for a DPL game.

DDCA highlighted that the allegations have not been corroborated by any authorized investigative agency. It has already shared the details of the sting operation with the appropriate officials and asked them to follow due procedural channels for a comprehensive inquiry.

The governing body reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the sport’s integrity through a strict zero‑tolerance approach. DDCA assured full cooperation with any probe and stated that any sanction will be based strictly on the conclusions drawn by the investigating authority, guided by the association’s rules and the law.

The disputed fixture involved Central Delhi Kings and North Delhi Strikers in the seventh match of the league’s third edition at Arun Jaitley Stadium. While Bhatiya claimed to have disclosed insider information before the toss and referenced prior involvement in IPL and other domestic events, DDCA maintained that such statements are yet to be proven and that a fair, rule‑based process must be allowed to determine any outcomes.
