Punjab Defeats Karnataka 5-2; Odisha Overpowers Haryana 5-1 in Junior Hockey Quarterfinals

The quarter‑final action of the Junior Men's National Hockey Championship saw Punjab and Odisha dominate their opponents. Punjab's 5‑2 win over Karnataka featured a balanced attack, while Odisha delivered a 5‑1 performance against Haryana.

For Punjab, Ajaypal Singh opened the scoring at the 22nd minute, followed by Captain Jarman Singh at 24'. Sani and Amandeep added goals in the 32nd and 35th minutes respectively, and Gurvinder Singh sealed the win with a 60th‑minute strike. Karnataka's Kiran Reddy managed two goals, but they were insufficient.
