He said that Rohit always understood how to lead the team and what was crucial for them. Dravid believes that a captain should lead the team and set the path. He expressed his satisfaction working with Rohit, who remained composed despite challenges. Dravid also highlighted Rohit’s ability to understand the team well. He emphasized the team’s need for a captain like Rohit Sharma after Virat Kohli’s tenure, praising Rohit’s excellent leadership and numerous wins. He expressed happiness with Rohit’s performance.
Rahul Dravid served as India’s head coach from November 2021 to June 2024, during which Rohit Sharma captained India in all three formats. Under their partnership, India won 10 consecutive matches in the 2023 ODI World Cup and qualified for the final.
