Record‑Setting List A Performance and Later Coaching Success

In the 1997‑98 List A season, Rahul Sanghvi posted a historic spell for Delhi against Himachal Pradesh, taking eight wickets for just fifteen runs. The performance set a world record for the best bowling figures in a List A match at the time and stood for two decades before being surpassed in 2018‑19.

Sanghvi's domestic résumé also includes 271 wickets in 95 first‑class matches and 97 wickets in 68 List A games, highlighting his skill as a left‑arm wrist spinner. He concluded his playing days with Delhi in 2006.

Transitioning to coaching, Sanghvi joined the Mumbai Indians franchise in 2008. His analytical approach, honed from years of domestic competition, has been pivotal in developing the team's younger bowlers.
