At the young age of 13, Rhythm Mamania has achieved a significant milestone, becoming the youngest female to secure a gold medal at the 20th Asian Roller Skating Championship held in Jecheon, South Korea. Her exceptional performance in the Solo Free Dance event not only earned her the top spot on the podium but also highlighted the rising prominence of Indian athletes in artistic roller skating. This victory adds another achievement to her already impressive resume. She is a six-time national champion and a multiple-time national medalist, having also tasted international success by winning gold at the 2025 Taiwan Championship. Her achievements began early, at the age of five, when she remarkably drove under 25 stationary cars in a single attempt, foreshadowing her future athletic career. Beyond skating, she has also demonstrated her adventurous spirit by becoming the youngest Indian to reach Everest Base Camp in 2021. Throughout her journey, her guiding principle has been ‘India First, Self Later.’ With her recent Asian title win, Rhythm is now preparing for the Brisbane Pacific Cup, training under the guidance of her coach, Mrs. Adesh Singh. Her determination, poise, and unwavering spirit continue to inspire aspiring sportspeople and elevate the profile of artistic roller skating on the international stage. Rhythm’s story underscores that passion, dedication, and patriotism can turn even the most ambitious dreams into reality, and she is just getting started.
