As India prepares to defend its title in the 2025 Asia Cup, the responsibility falls on several new players, including Rinku Singh, who is in the squad. While fans await his performance, Singh has given them another reason to celebrate. The cricketer from Uttar Pradesh will be starting a cricket academy in his hometown, Aligarh. Announced by his brother, Sonu Kumar, on social media on Wednesday, the RS35 cricket academy will be an indoor facility, allowing players of all ages to train throughout the year. The launch date is yet to be revealed, but the news has delighted Singh’s fans and cricket enthusiasts in and around Aligarh. Singh, who has made a mark in IPL and international cricket, aims to nurture more cricketers from his city. Rinku Singh will be playing for India in the Asia Cup after the T20 series against England in January-February. Before this, Rinku played in IPL 2025 and captained the Meerut Mavericks in the UPT20 league. He scored a stunning century in the league and took his team to the final. However, he left for the Asia Cup before the final, and his team lost the match.
