Former Indian cricketer Saba Karim shared his insights on the upcoming Qualifier 2 match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), favoring MI due to their current momentum and strong bowling attack. He also expressed his wish for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to win the Indian Premier League (IPL) for their fans. He praised India’s bench strength and the chance for young players to showcase their talent. The series starts on June 20 with the first Test at Leeds. The upcoming tour marks a new phase for Indian cricket and a new cycle in the ICC World Test Championship (2025-27).
Additionally, Karim lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi, recognizing his talent and the growing reach of the game. Suryavanshi had a successful IPL season for Rajasthan Royals. The India squad for the England tour was also listed.
