Furthermore, Karim discussed India’s upcoming tour of England, emphasizing the opportunity for a young squad under the leadership of Shubman Gill. He praised the bench strength and the chance for youngsters to perform well. The tour begins in June with five Tests, marking the start of a new World Test Championship cycle. Additionally, Karim lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s gesture of meeting young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi, recognizing his talent and the growing reach of the game. Suryavanshi’s impressive IPL performance, including a record-breaking century, was also acknowledged.
